Heavy rain northern Europe, hot and dry in the south but thundery Iberia on Thursday

Wednesday
Some storms in the east of Spain through Wednesday evening. There is a risk of some scattered showers to across Northwestern Spain. The rest of Spain and Iberia should be fair with some good spells of sunshine throughout the day and it will be staying very warm. Staying fine through the Balearics with more sunshine here and another fine day to come across Italy, Greece and Turkey.
an area of rain affecting northern France, some of it heavy. Southern areas of France should be dry with some hot spells of sunshine. That rain also troubling the low countries and northern parts of Germany and northern Poland. Southern Poland and southern Germany as well as most of Hungary and Austria stay dry with lots of sunshine. Some afternoon showers developing over Switzerland.
low pressure brings rain and then showers to Denmark. Sunny spells and generally dry for the low countries but more rain affecting Finland. Sweden will have cloud and rain, some of it heavy in the south. Norway has sunny spells and showers across many northern and western areas and will be feeling cold.

Thursday
Rain across northern Spain on Thursday. Heavy showers and thunderstorms in eastern and southern Spain. A few spots of rain for northern POrtugal but dry in the south. The Balearics will have some afternoon thunderstorms whilst Sardinia is dry. Fair for most of Italy but some thunderstorms in the far north. Greece and Turkey should be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Thundery and sometimes heavy rain in southern France. Brighter in the north but some showers along the coasts. Rain and heavy showers in the Low Countries and northern Germany as well as western Poland. Rain for the south of Poland and northern Hungary. Austria and Switzerland become wet with heavy thunderstorms here.
Rain and cloud in Denmark, some of it heavy. Further rain or heavy showers for the Baltic States. Finland will have a scattering of showers. More scattered showers and cool weather in Sweden. Heavier showers or longer spells of rain in Norway.
